HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!


Dear Moms, 

Allow me to tell you all from the bottom of my heart: Happy Mother's Day! Today is the day to honor all the hard work YOU do each and every day. A brief moment of reflection to appreciate the time, struggle and sacrifice that comes with motherhood. Here is your celebration from ME:


Above you will find all of the things us MOMS want at least a few times a year to avoid going completely bat shit crazy on our families: Time to yourself! Wine, lots of WINE! Diamonds, because you deserve them! Flowers, cuz all moms like flowers! A private potty session- just. For. You.

Omg, I know, you love them!! You're very welcome! By next year I would like to be able to have a Mother's Day giveaway for my moms that really come through and read, like, comment and share my blogs! *hint, hint* lol
Okay, all b.s. aside...what in the world do YOU do on Mother's Day? I generally wake up, make breakfast for the kids and receive my many gifts of construction paper and glue; and then take the kids outside to play. I may end up cooking out, seeing as I am the MAIN chef in the house. lol  I do enjoy myself regardless because I see the thought that went into the creation of the bouquets and collages and cards and it makes all the stress melt away. LOL (for about thirty minutes!)

This year, I received a flower pot that was sprouting a Sophia flower!! Complete with moss! My oldest said I could cash in ALL of those lovely coupons throughout the ages... lol needless to say I have an indentured slave for the remainder of the summer at least!

I did spend the day with the kids outside and that was great! We went fishing for fish, and frogs and turtles. Got a little dirty and had a lot of fun! But, the allergies started to kick in like ninja assassins and I had to turn in early! *Boo* I did get to watch Game of Thrones and Veep before I ended a fabulous day.

Dear Moms,  OMIGERD!! I have been swamped! Let me fill ya in: I am STILL in school full time, for my Graphic Arts Associates Degree.  I am getting the kids ready for a brand spanking new school year in an entirely new city AND state. I am getting my company: Essential Bath Elements off of the ground. I have had anemia my entire life and never knew the true depths of how ugly it can get.
