Omg, I'm super excited!

Dear Moms,

I am over the moon right now! I just got the email from www.everythinggirlslove.com that told me I was a new Lifestyle staff writer! This position gives me editorial credit for my blog postings. I will be featured on www.everythinggirlslove.com in the Modern Domestic (yes, that is a link that will take you directly there!) section.



This is truly a dream come true. I have been writing since I was a little girl. I have been creating stories and prose and poetry since I can remember. I used to dream about working for WGBH in Boston watching Channel 11 out of Chicago, Illinois. What up WTTW reference?! Lol I entered writing competitions throughout high school, and I went to college to become a journalist.

Two degrees, and four kids later...my writing became a hobby, and a way to entertain the 'Littles.' Now that they are all in school, my writing has grown into a way to cope with the story of my life, as well as a monetary source, with a few freelance jobs once in a while.

Dear Moms,  OMIGERD!! I have been swamped! Let me fill ya in: I am STILL in school full time, for my Graphic Arts Associates Degree.  I am getting the kids ready for a brand spanking new school year in an entirely new city AND state. I am getting my company: Essential Bath Elements off of the ground. Migraine and Anemia Rantings  Dear Moms, I recently had to face the truth about the seriousness of living with anemia. I have had anemia my entire life and never knew the true depths of how ugly it can get. I have discovered in my research, that living with anemia is wrought with hidden pitfalls that deplete the body's natural iron levels. Seemingly, every other thing one puts in their mouths on a daily basis is a culprit; robbing the body of iron.
